After my matric, I started working as a casual as a waitress for a year. Meanwhile, I started at Cape Peninsula University of Technology to further my studies but it was not easy for me and my responsibilities where to much for a young girl from High school then I left school. In my journey I managed to get an opportunity of become a well known cashier of the week, or the month in a short period of time before I decided to finish my contract as a seasonal worker at click. Out of all the journey I came a cross an advantage of becoming a teacher assistant which is what made me to go and persue my dream of becoming an enthusiastic teacher, tutor and facilitator.
